SEXUAL CURIOSITIES

· Italians are the oldest in Europe to lose their virginity, at the 18.1 years, compared with Iceland (15,6) and Germany (15,9) (Durex 2005)
· In Italy and Sweden the average number of sexual partners is the highest of Europe, 11.8, while Spanish and Germans have respectively 6.1 and 5.8 (Durex 2005)
· Only 36% of the Italians are happy with their sexual life compared with the Belgians (57%) and the Poles (56%) (Durex 2005)
· Only 37% of the Italians claim to be open minded in their sexual life, compared with the Poles (76%), the Slovenes and the Icelanders (both 62%) (Durex 2005)
· 50% of the Italians practice anal sex; they are between the Europeans that use this practice at the most, together with the Greeks (55%) (Durex 2005)
· More of 80% of the Italians (82%) had sex in the car whereas 52% had it in the parents’ room and at the beach (Durex 2005)
